Dempster, shafer, and aggregate uncertainty

Abstract

An improved algorithm for calculating Aggregate Uncertainty in Shafer's Evidence Theory is presented and its correctness is proven. A problem with this, and the original algorithm when applied to Dempsters's Theory of Lower and Upper probabilities is then presented.
