Abstract

A study on elliptical flow of identified particles at midrapidity in gold-gold collisions was carried out. The analysis was performed using time projection chamber at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The elliptic flow for particles of different masses was found to differ as a function of transverse momentum and centrality. The hydrodynamic models depicted a behavior consistent with collective hydrodynamical flow.

The elliptic flow for particles of different masses was found to differ as a function of transverse momentum and centrality. The hydrodynamic models depicted a behavior consistent with collective hydrodynamical flow.
