Normal pregnancy, labor, and delivery

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Pregnancy and childbirth are normal physiological processes for most women. Although an integral part of the fabric of pregnancy and birth is the availability of quality prenatal care to ensure the highest level of safety, modern medicine has sometimes been guilty of using a disease model for the management of pregnancy and childbirth, resulting in higher rates of complications.
